Crystal chip bracelets are small pieces of crystal that have been tumbled until smooth, and then strung together on elastic.

Fluorite is a wonderful crystal due to its great variety of colouring of purple, green, white and clear. These fluorite chip bracelets from a distance do tend to appear more purple, but do contain the other colours too to different degrees. A good quality bracelet.

Fluoritt,  som opptrer i alle mulige farger. Mineralet er meget utbredt, særlig på ganger og sprekker i granitt og deres kontaktsoner. Det krystalliserer kubisk, og spalter lett i fire retninger som oktader. Kjemisk er det et flusspat. I mange tilfeller viser mineralet fluorecens dvs. det utsender synlig lys av forskjellig farge ved bestråling med ultrafiolett lys. Også fosforecens,  kan forekomme, slik at lysutsendelsen fortsetter i kortere eller lengre tid etter at bestrålingen er opphørt. En annen interessant egenskap ved enkelte fluoritter gir lysutsendelse ved svak oppvarming.
