Copal, black (Bursera Microphillya)
In ancient cultures of Central America, Copal was and is the incense to be used with initiations and divine visioning. Opens the heart, enlightens the spirit, refreshing and calming, for purification and protection, very suitable for offering rituals. "Food for the gods"; "Opening to the light". Purifying incense and extatic means, also named "The intellect from Heaven". Worldwide origins from various trees of Bursura and Dipterocarpacea (Manilla copal).

How to use
Suitable for burning on a fireproof dish with charcoal, or on a special sieve incense burner. The burning process on a sieve burner is slower than on charcoal. You can easily mix the incense with other varieties.

Also available are matching tongs to safely light the charcoal, tongs to handle the incense strainer, a steel brush to clean the incense strainer and a pheasant feather for odor dispersion. A loose sieve of 125 mm fits also on an oil evaporator, if you remove the cup.
